Join us Thursday, April 24th at 8:00 PM Eastern for a powerful and practical Town Hall event with Ronda Thorington, MA, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Parent Coach specializing in supporting families facing medical uncertainty. The evening will include a guided Introduction to the Resilient Parent Toolkit with practical strategies to manage stress and foster deeper family connections, actionable tools for weekly resilience planning, medical appointment prep, and self-care. Ronda Thorington, MA is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 20 years of providing mental health treatment to children, families and adults through her private practice in Connecticut.

Join us Thursday, May 5th at 2:00 PM Eastern for an informative Cure JM Town Hall with Dr. Kaveh Ardalan. He will provide insight into the art and science of tapering. Tapering or weaning off of medications is a critical part of managing Juvenile Myositis (JDM). This session will provide insights into the process of reducing or discontinuing treatments like steroids, methotrexate, IVIG, and other common medications used in JDM care. This session is designed to empower families with knowledge about tapering medications, fostering collaboration with their care team to make informed decisions tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Join us Wednesday, June 4th at 2:00 PM Eastern for a special Cure JM Town Hall featuring Dr. Stacey Tarvin. This will serve as an essential introduction to juvenile dermatomyositis for families navigating a new diagnosis and will provide clear, compassionate guidance on managing treatments, and finding support. For families already on the JM journey, JM 101 will also cover the latest treatment protocols, best practices, and groundbreaking research shaping the future of care.
