Clinical Care Network

Susan Kim, MD, MMSc is an Associate Professor and Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UCSF. For nearly 2 decades, she has specialized with a long-term focus and passion for the care of children and families with Juvenile Dermatomyositis. Dr. Kim serves as the elected Chair for the Juvenile Dermatomyositis research committee of the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA), the North American pediatric rheumatology research network. She also serves as the Vice-Chair for the scientific advisory committee for the International Myositis Assessment and Clinical Studies Group (IMACS) and on the Cure JM Medical Advisory Board. She believes that collaboration with families, scientists, clinicians, and other providers is vital to advancing juvenile myositis outcomes, and has spent her career partnering with others passionate about juvenile myositis.
