Lauren Griffiths Alvord came to Cure JM through the Intel Corporation Encore Fellows Program, a program where Intel retirees work for a nonprofit organization while receiving a stipend from Intel.
Lauren chose to work at Cure JM because of her friendship with Mason Smedley and his family. For many years, Lauren had been a supporter of Cure JM through the Smedley family and had participated in many Cure JM fundraising events, including the Smedley Family’s annual Kids’ Fest in Hillsboro, OR.

Lauren brings over 30 years of Human Resources and project management experience from Intel Corporation to her work at Cure JM. She attended California State University, Chico where she studied Human Resources Management and Economics.
Lauren lives in California with her husband and two young sons.
