Cure JM Foundation National Fundraiser

St. Pete Beach Classic

One high point of the National Conference weekend is Sunday morning when families will fundraise for Cure JM either by running, walking, or volunteering in the St. Pete Beach Classic 1/2 Marathon. Register now at www.stpetebeachclassic.com. Some families will also choose to participate in a race on Saturday morning before the conference activities begin.

Conference activities are scheduled to begin around 10am Saturday morning (some early-morning sessions may be held on Saturday morning for those who aren't attending the Saturday races). Details of the race are below, if you have questions please email or call (760) 487-1079.

11:00 AM – 7:00 PM – Health & Fitness Expo, Packet Pick up & Late Registration

SATURDAY, JANUARY 16TH, 2016

Note:  The Cure JM Conference Breakout sessions will start around 10:30am
6:00 AM – 5:00 PM – Packet Pick up & Late Registration
7:00 AM – Classic 10K
8:45 AM – Kids’ Classic
9:00 AM – Classic 5K
5:00 PM –3.8 Mile Beach Run (please note that this race takes place during the Cure JM Educational Conference)

SUNDAY, JANUARY 17TH, 2016

7:00 AM – Classic Half Marathon Followed by Post Race Party  - this is the event that all Cure JM families will attend, either as volunteers or runners/walkers.  This is the high point of the weekend.

RACE AMENITIES

  • USATF Certified Courses
  • Electronic Timing from Event Technical Services and Chronotrack Systems
  • Age Group Awards – 5 deep for the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon; Age Group Awards –1 deep for the Progressive Classic Duo and Marathon Challenge
  • Race management reserves the right to refuse any entry

THINGS TO KNOW

  • Runners are responsible for wearing their race number with timing chip
  • No headphones, rollerblades, dogs or babyjoggers
