Event Attracts Local Television News Coverage

This past spring, when Liam Ryan was diagnosed with JM, his parents had never heard of it. Because JM is so rare, not many people know about the disease. But once Liam was diagnosed, the Ryan family was moved to join the Cure JM mission to find a cure and better treatments for Juvenile Myositis.

The Ryan family took this passion and came up with the idea to combine Liam’s fifth birthday party with a fundraiser to support more JM research.

Through hard work and a willingness to share their story, the event was an astounding success. Liam’s Bowl2CureJM party raised $30,000 for much-needed research.
