Give a genetic sample via a blood draw or saliva sample. When possible, it is best to collect blood samples from parents, JM patients, and siblings. Grandparents can give a blood or saliva sample.

This research project is being facilitate by The Center for Applied Genomics (CAG) at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. CAG is one of the world’s largest bio banking, sequencing, and genotyping facilities, hosting hundreds of thousands of bio samples and capable of sequencing and genotyping thousands of samples per week. The Center is CLIA-certified and its mission is to develop new and better ways to diagnose and treat children affected by rare and complex medical disorders.
